Gloria Tapon Njamo
(CA) SA: Gloria is a Chartered Accountant who completed her training at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Post her training she spent 6 years in the Advisory division of PwC where she consulted in business process improvements, IT controls review & specialising in SAP ERP system. She has experience in Insurance, Retail and Manufacturing. She then worked for JPMorgan Bank as a Risk Officer, and headed up a Performance and Planning team at Woolworths Financial Services - where she was in charge of business reporting and planning, budgeting processes and offered financial commercial support to the team.
She is currently a CFO at a marine logistics company, overseeing 12 countries (Ghana, Mozambique, SA, Namibia, Tanzania, Kenya, Madagascar, Swaziland, Australia and Singapore). She also serves as a provincial treasurer for PPF (Progressive Professional Forum).
Eloff Van Gend
Eloff van Gend is our original PM Connector. Besides founding PM Connection in 2006 Eloff has extensive experience in project and programme management delivery, particularly in the Financial Services and IT sectors. Eloff maintains a firm belief in project management as a strategic organisational practice as well as the significant influence that project managers have on delivery. These perspectives continually drive Eloff to provide PM Connection solutions and products, which enhance project management skill and competencies.
Eloff holds a BSc degree in Computer Science, an MBA and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In addition to his professional project management practices Eloff has served as President of the Western Cape Branch of Project Management South Africa (PMSA). During his tenure as President, the PMSA Western Cape achieved the accolade of PMSA branch of the year award.
Desireé joined PM Connection after working in the public sector for 30 years, most of which was at senior management or director level. Desireé is an accomplished Executive with a wealth of strategic, management and operational experience, together with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelor of Social Sciences (B.Soc.Sci) and a Project Management qualification. Her extensive human capital, talent and project management experience ranges across a wide berth of local government services such as:
- social and community development projects
- organisational transformation and design programmes
- process and system development
- infrastructure development
Natasha Van Gend
Natasha van Gend is a director ar PM Connection and brings over a decade of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition to her primary role as Head of Recruitment for PM Connection countrywide. Her broader experience also includes Project Management services. Over the course of her recruitment career she has assisted multiple companies across a wide range of different industries to appoint the right people at the right time.
